The
National Heritage Fair is an event involving students and teachers from
every province and territory in Canada. A number of students from all
corners of the country will meet in a Canadian city, in July. The week
includes a public exhibition of student projects.
Eligibility Guidelines:
The National Fair organisers are in agreement that as many students as
possible across the country should have an opportunity to attend a National
Heritage Fair.
THEREFORE, STUDENTS CAN
ONLY BE SELECTED TO ATTEND THE NATIONAL FAIR ONCE.
This does not mean
students cannot participate in the Fairs Program. Here are other ways that
students are recognized. ALL students are eligible for the following and
are encouraged to stay with the Fairs Programme for more wonderful heritage
opportunities:
1.
Selection
to attend a Regional Fair in your area
2.
Honorable
Mention awards at Regional Fairs
3.
Other
National awards
4.
Participation
in National Stamp and Provincial T-shirt contest
