HOW TO PARTICIPATE If you or your class is in grades 4 to 9 you may take part in the fairs. Make sure to follow the guidelines, the timeline and to fill in the registration forms. Schools School Representative contacts Regional Coordinator to get information on local fair times and regulations. Find guidelines on the web site. Teacher sends letter home with students regarding participation in regional fair, Fair Showcase and design our t-shirt and stamp contest. Students complete projects and present them at school fairs (see timelines). After adjudication process at school level, teachers send statistics re school participation at Regional Fair and send student registration forms with student, parent and teacher signatures to Regional Coordinator. Regional Fairs are held in May. July - Student representatives and chaperones attend the National History Camp. Individual Students If you are a student who wishes to participate in the History Fairs and your class or school is not taking part, please notify your principal of your interest and give him or her the website address. He or she may decide to enter the school in the Programme. If school participation is not possible then contact the Regional Coordinator nearest you, to see if you can participate in some other way.
